The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in Hong Kong in 1963, the CUHK Business School has gained world recognition of nurturing business leaders with immense contributions in Asia Pacific. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (MBA, MSc, MAcc, EMBA, MPhil, PhD) with over 4,600 students, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 40,000 alumni around the world.

Undergraduate Office of CUHK Business School, a vibrant and an energetic office, is looking for a Project Assistant II to join the Admissions and Marketing Communications team, whose major duties are to co-ordinate and support prospective student outreach activities, including but not limited to admissions talks and activities, admissions interviews and business lecture series. The appointee is also expected to maintain and enhance the admissions student portal. The appointee will provide administrative duties to (a) plan and organise outreach activities; (b) support and co-ordinate events, such as Information Day; (c) liaise with external and internal stakeholders; and (d) perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (ii) a Bachelor’s degree; (iii) fast and accurate typing skill; (iv) an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua); (v) outstanding interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; (vi) self-motivation with the ability to multitask, work independently and under pressure within tight deadlines; (vii) a strong sense of self-responsibility and ownership at work. Possession of computer skills, such as Adobe Creative Cloud and MS 365, is a definite advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written tests and/or computer skills tests and/or interviews, as appropriate.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
